5S Methodology

Training description: The continuous improvement process in business performances with the aim to eliminate wastes and to achieve the required level of customer satisfaction can be strongly supported by the “5S” methodology.
The acronym “5S” comes from 5 Japanese words:

SEIRI - Sort

SEITON - Set in order

SEISO - Shine

SEIKETSU - Standardize
-
SHITSUKE – Sustain
In general, all these words mean “to put in order” and indicate a logical path that provides a method and an effective tool for the management of the continuous improvement process, as required and emphasized from ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards.
Combining theory and case studies, the participants will gain a deep understanding of 5S methodology and how to apply it in the daily business activities.
