Content: This two-day course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of ADVANCED PRODUCT QUALITY PLANNING (APQP) and how to implement APQP as part of a company’s product development process. This course also covers the Aerospace Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including where and when to incorporate preventive tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.

Learning Objectives

• Demonstrate an understanding of Aerospace Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as defined by AS9145

• Demonstrate an understanding of the 5 phases of APQP, including the specific inputs and outputs related to each phase

• Evaluate key APQP deliverables using the quality event checklist

• Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the Aerospace Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
