Overview of UNI EN 9101:2018

Objective and content: The purpose of the course is to examine the changes from 9101E to 9101F. Participants will focus on gathering objective evidence and on how the forms in the documentation package required by the new 9101 standard might be completed. This will be achieved using scenario examples and case studies. Before completing the module, participants will take part in comprehensive review exercises to practice document compilation and review a collection of “approved solutions” provided by the 9101E/9101: SME writing team.

Through group or individual activities, the training course focuses on the following topics:

  • Revision of 9101 - We will examine the reasons that led the IAQG to undertake this new revision, the changes made, and their impact on organizations certified to UNI EN 9100, 9110, and 9120, as well as on the ICOP third-party certification process.

  • Process-based approach - The importance and emphasis that the Aerospace and Defense (ASD) sector places on the process-based approach as a tool for measuring the effectiveness of Quality Management Systems and the approach to continuous improvement, as required by the 9100 series standards

  • The new Process Evaluation Matrix (PEM) - Determining effectiveness levels and conclusions in terms of numerical process evaluations during the compilation of PEARs

  • New audit reporting: Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs), QMS Process Report Matrix, and the Process Effectiveness Assessment Report (PEAR). How it changes, and how to correctly complete audit reports.
