Objective and content: The course aims to provide participants with a better understanding of measurement instrument and laboratory management activities in compliance with ISO 17025 standards and the guidelines of the Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) manual issued by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG).

Participants will develop a better understanding of the content and objectives of measurement instrument analysis systems, gaining, through various practical exercises, greater familiarity with the use and application of operational tools.

The training course is structured in successive stages:

• The regulatory framework for laboratory and measuring instrument management

• Laboratory management

• Instrument fleet management

• Metrological traceability of measurements

• Calibration: objectives and operational procedures

• Measurement uncertainty

• Metrological confirmation

• The calibration report

• Introduction to the statistical analysis of measurement systems (MSA)
