Objective and Content: The process of continuous improvement in business performance, aimed at eliminating waste and satisfying customers, is based on the activities known as “5S.”
The acronym “5S” comes from the initials of five Japanese words:

SEIRI (Sort): separate;

SEITON (Set in order): organize;

SEISO (Shine): clean;

SEIKETSU (Standardize): standardize;

SHITSUKE (Sustain): maintain and sustain.
In summary, these 5 words refer to managing a process aimed at “Bringing Order” according to rules and models designed to define an effective method and tool for managing the continuous improvement process, as required and emphasized by the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN 9100 standards. The course guides participants, through the use of a case study, toward understanding and applying the 5S methodology, providing practical tools for implementation within their own company.
