Objective and content: The classroom-based course combines group and individual activities, case studies, and exercises on how to conduct audits, planning methods, and techniques for collecting objective evidence, in accordance with ISO 19011 guidelines and the following thematic outline:
· Introduction to the UNI EN 9100:2018 standard: the history, target audience, content, and objectives of the standard within the aerospace sector; the ICOP certification scheme for the Aeronautics, Space, and Defense (ASD) sector;
· the process-based approach and risk-based thinking: from process definition to classification and identification. The aerospace model for process mapping, the spider diagram and the turtle diagram, the process sheet, the definition of process requirements, input-output relationships and functional analysis, performance measurement for continuous improvement; risk-based thinking; system risk management and operational risk management
· The requirements of UNI EN 9100: detailed examination of the UNI EN 9100 requirements, key interpretation, impact on ASD companies, what to look for as objective evidence, the strategic advantage for companies
· The requirements of 9101:2018: Review of the main requirements of the 9101 standard governing the third-party certification process; use of IAQG forms (PEAR, NCR, QMS Matrix) for recording auditing activities; the phases of the ICOP certification process
· Audit planning: purpose and objectives, tools, operational procedures, critical elements; requirements of the UNI EN 9100:2018 standard;
· Top Management audit: tools, operating procedures, critical elements, case studies, and simulations of Senior Management audit activities;
· Process Owner audits: tools, operational procedures, critical elements, case studies, and simulations of audit activities for managers of the company’s quality management system processes;
· Process audits: tools, operating procedures, critical elements, case studies, and simulations of audit activities for the processes of the corporate quality management system;
· Conclusions, drafting of audit reports (QMS, PEAR, classification of findings identified during the audit, drafting of requests for corrective actions);
· Surveillance audits, recertification audits, and special audits.
· Quality Principles: As in the UNI EN 9100 standard, the quality management principles outlined in ISO 9000 have been taken into account.
· The auditor and UNI EN ISO 19011: Principles of auditing, auditor competence and assessment, the auditor’s personal conduct, communication, conflict situations in auditing, and interview techniques used
During the course, participants will be evaluated through group and individual activities, an audit simulation, and a final exam consisting of a written portion.
Those who successfully pass these assessments will be issued a certificate confirming their passing of the exam.
