Objective and content: This training course focuses on the process-based approach, providing basic concepts, operational tools, and the objectives of the approach outlined in UNI EN 9100:2018:

​

·       the process-based approach: from process definition to classification and identification. Recognized models for process mapping, the fishbone diagram and the turtle diagram, the definition of process requirements, input-output relationships, and functional analysis;

·       the principles introduced by the process-based approach and the expected benefits: from strict compliance to the management of business activities with a focus on added value, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction; from adherence to procedures to process “ownership”;

·       business process mapping: methodology, tools, and operational procedures; process characterization; and relationships between processes. The introduction of indicators to measure process performance, monitor results against set objectives, and drive improvement;

·       Key elements: requirements, changes from previous standards, the centrality of customer needs, critical elements, and the impact on the business.
