Training description: This course will provide participants with an overview overview
of key changes, new concepts, and updated methodologies introduced in the AIAG & VDA
“Statistical Process Control” Manual (1st edition).
Participants will be introduced to the tools defined in the new reference manual for planning,
managing, and continuously improving SPC activities, focusing on how to evaluate machine
performance, process performance and capability, and select the best control charts based
on time-dependent distribution models.
The course is designed only for participants with a background in statistical knowledge and
tools, as defined in the previous AIAG “SPC” Manual: variation causes, distribution, average
and standard deviation, control charts, capability indices).
