Training description: production part approval process is the final step

of the APQP process and it aims to obtain the customer approval

prior to shipment.

The course, according to the guidelines defined in the AIAG

“PPAP – Production Part Approval Process” Reference Manual (4th edition),

will provide a full overview of the management, preparation

, submission and approval steps of this core tool widely required

by automotive customers.

Training course outline:

PPAP: scope and benefits, requirements and procedures to be followed for the significant production run
PPAP submission: situations and typical scenarios within the automotive supply chain where PPAP submission is required according to the AIAG manual guidelines
5 levels of PPAP submission: definitions, requirements, operative methods
PPAP package: the relationship between the PPAP level and the APQP process. Documentation requirements and available templates
Case studies: examples of preparation, submission, review and approval of the “PPAP package”
