Training description:
achieving the expected level of product and
process quality requires a control system that is properly planned
and integrated into the organizational context, with the aim of minimizing
variation and monitoring performance over time.
The course, according to the guidelines defined in the AIAG “Control Plan”
Reference Manual (1st edition), will provide participants with an overview
of the process to create a control plan across the different stages of
the product lifecycle, linked to other automotive core tools.
Training course outline:

Control Plan: scope and benefits, linkages to the APQP process, control plan phases according to the product lifecycle.

Control Plan key elements: template, special characteristics, pass-through characteristics, family and inter-dependent control plans, reaction plans, control plans in highly automated processes.

Control Plan development: how to prepare a control plan in relationship with other automotive core tools (FMEA, MSA, and SPC). Case studies and exercises.

Control Plan management: linkages with FMEA and lessons learned, LPAs, Reverse FMEA, handling and storage conditions for effective control plan management as a “living document.”
